History
My First Home: 563 Spoleto Drive in the Palisades Riviera. My parents, Norma and Lewis Carter paid $16,000 for the home (on approximately 1 acre). The property was then sub-divided. Today, there is a beautiful Mediterranean in its place.

A second-generation realtor, “K.C.” was first licensed to sell real estate in the 1970’s. She obtained her broker's license in both California and Washington States in l979.
“K.C.” Soll began her real estate career in Malibu selling beachfront homes and mountain retreats. Over the years, she has primarily sold homes and estates in Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, Westwood, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey and Venice. However, her love of local lore and architecture continues to draw her to the estate properties of the Palisades Riviera.
"In 1991, I listed a home on Amalfi Drive designed by the firm of Paul Williams F.A.I.A. in 1941. The home had been built for Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lake ("Dagwood") and reputedly paid for by Marion Davies, a gift to her niece. Years after the sale closed, it was announced that 'Mrs. Arthur Lake' was indeed the daughter of Marion Davies and William Randolph Hearst."
To a movie buff, the past and present of this area (Palisades, Brentwood, Santa Monica) reads like a Who's Who of the entertainment industry.
